Have you also been intrigued by the world of miniatures? Well, I received an email recently urging me to submit my miniature seating furniture to an upcoming exhibition, and I couldn't resist the opportunity. While I've always had an interest in creating miniature objects, there always seemed to be something else more pressing that required my attention. However, this time around, there was a deadline in place, and I was determined to make something spectacular using my fabrics with my own unique patterns.
Being employed in a factory that generates a lot of waste wood, I decided to make use of these discarded materials for my miniature project. As a matter of fact, I had recently begun taking Stacie Bloomfield's course, Leverage Your Art, and one of the lessons inspired me to make a statement art piece that truly captures my creative vision.
For me, this miniature furniture was the perfect challenge to showcase my patterns in a brand new way. Although I'm yet to receive any notification about the exhibition, this project was an extremely rewarding experience from concept to finished product. And who knows, I might even make a few more miniatures to sell in the future.
